More info

This ecological gas refill 12a, is a natural refrigerant gas, without greenhouse effect or on the ozone layer, it is made of hydrocarbons 100% compatible with circuits R134a, R12, 1234yf, etc. (eco-friendly substitute fluid).

Same procedure as Duraccol (it's the same gas under a different brand)

A/C charging (simple)

Vacuum draught and recharging of car air conditioning

Our 12a gas is an ideal replacement for R12, R134a, 1234yf etc. originally found in automotive and other air conditioning systems (e.g. fridges). It is 100% compatible with air conditioning oils (mineral or synthetic) .

Our 12a gas has larger molecules than the original gas and thus saves 30 to 40% of gas on the full charge of the refrigeration circuit and also has less pressure loss in the event of a micro leak.

For your information: Each 170 gr can is equivalent to

  • 484 gr HFC-R134a
  • 513 gr CFC-R12
  • 340gr HFO 1234yf

These refrigerant gases work at much lower pressures and allow savings both during recharging (because less gas is used) and also energy (up to 40% compared to the original CFCs, HCFCs and HFCs) since the compressor starts up less often, it also limits the pressure loss since its molecules are much larger than that of the original gas.

ADVANTAGE of our 12a gas : it does not require approvals to be used, by individuals or for professionals to recharge R12 or R134a, 1234yf air conditioning circuits. However, some DIY skills are still recommended

In order to protect the environment, The mode of employmentis supplied to you in digital form, the procedure is identical to Duracool (it's actually the same gas under a different brand)

For R134a, 1234yf, R12 see here
It is also available here for the
Vacuum Draft
For the R22, This is it
As far as the fridge refill is concerned, It's on this link

  • Compatibility: Mineral & Synthetic Oils
  • Working Pressure: Inferior to conventional gases
  • Energy Reduction: Up to 40%
  • Bobbin thread: 1/2 ACME

Careful: It is impossible for us to deliver this product to the French Overseas Departments and Territories. Indeed, airlines refuse this product for safety reasons, because it is under pressure like the spray cans of lacquers, paints, etc.

This 12A refrigerant does not require approvals to be purchased, or installed in an empty circuit of CFCs, HFCs or HCFCs. Any intervention on a circuit still containing fluorine: CFCs, HFCs or HCFCs requires the intervener to comply with the laws in force (Decree of 4 July 2009).

Good to know:

When you place your order, you will receive with your kit a label(s) to affix to your vehicle to specify that it is equipped with 12A gas

Just like R134a and the refrigerant package,

Make sure you have proper ventilation when charging.

Do not smoke while handling the product.

Protect your eyes, face and skin from possible splashes.

For your information, here are the technical data of the self-flammability of the different refrigerants (easily available and indisputable on the websites of the various manufacturers).

- R134a (original gas) HFC 743°C F: fluorine, "thermal decomposition: hydrofluoric acid",
- HFO 1234yf HFC (new approved gas that replaces R134a) 405°C F: fluorine, "thermal decomposition: hydrofluoric acid",
- HC 12a (our gas) HC 891°C no fluorine, so no hydrofluoric acid possible.

R12a is definitely an advantageous replacement for 1234yf, R12 and R134a in
systems that already exist.
It can also be used in new circuits.

What the law says

Even though our 12a gas is 100% compatible with R134a and existing oils, the Act states that: Mixing refrigerants is illegal

Recover all existing refrigerants in a suitable and approved container and mark it properly as the law prohibits the discharge of refrigerants into the atmosphere.
